BIO: Terron Bauer

     For many people hunting is just a hobby, but for me it’s a way of life. Growing up on the Little Blue River in southeast Nebraska, I learned at a young age, chasing whitetails was going to be a big part of my life.

      At the age of eight, after eyeing the old Recurve that hung in our basement for years, I took it down from its hanging place and dusted it off. Shooting that bow was as exciting to me as my first steps were to my parents. After that, I wasted no time in asking my dad to bring me a hay bale to shoot at, and because he could see the excitement and the passion in my eyes, I was flinging arrows by the end of the night.

      As the years went by, my passion for bow hunting became almost an obsession. There wasn’t an hour in the day I didn’t think about whitetail deer or how I could make myself a better bow hunter. In my years of bow hunting I have been blessed to meet and talk to many very successful bow hunters. Throughout these meetings, I’ve learned a great deal about whitetails and hunting these elusive animals.

      For the past six years I have spent countless hours studying and researching deer, especially mature bucks. I may only be 25 years old, but I feel with everything I’ve learned through books, fellow bowhunters, and hands-on experience, I have the information needed to consistently harvest mature whitetails. I've been lucky enough to take 20 big game animals with my bow in those six years, and I can't wait to see what the next season brings me.
